Tap Into Body Wisdom

April 10, 2012 Leave a comment

Creative visualization of top performance right down to the cellular level is a crazy awesome way to wake up your body’s natural inclination to look, feel, and just be at your best!

What you consciously tell your subconscious (that part of your mind that basically runs all of the systems that your conscious mind doesn’t have to)… is what will become true.

I visualize each and every cell of my body working in concert with one another to achieve top condition and perfect health.

Your body should crave healthy food and exercise when it’s time!

Forgiving Myself

January 10, 2012 1 comment

I forgive myself.

Ok, so that thing(s) you’ve done in your past… You know, the one(s) that make(s) you cringe when you are reminded of them? … Yeah, it’s time to forgive yourself for it and stop just “hanging in there”.

I don’t know why I wanted this photo for this positive affirmation
– I guess just because it looks like she’s on a small ledge of a steep cliff. It’ll remind me to climb up and out of self-doubt due to mess-ups I’ve made in the past? What do you think?

Cheers to your New Year love! ♥

What I Need to Be

I already am everything I need to be.

Any improvements I make in myself is simply icing on the cake.

Inspired by “Creative Visualization”… this audiobook I listened to…

Potential for Renewal

October 10, 2011 Leave a comment

I was reading a book called “the Element” by Ken Robinson Ph.D. – Dr. Robinson wrote about how we sometimes disable ourselves because of our belief that we’ve missed an opportunity or will never have one in the first place. (I am paraphrasing a bit here.) Something that really stuck with me was when he said that too many of us fail to notice that we all have a “constant potential for renewal”.

I always have the potential for renewal.

So, there you have it. Charge your batteries on the empowering fact that you have a lot of control over your own fate. Embrace your renewal and try again.

Be Yourself

Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.

This positive affirmation is definitely not original. Someone tweeted it about a month ago and I wrote it down…

Photo credit: I downloaded this file from someone’s tumblr Tuesday back in like April… I thought it was sort of fitting for this post. Don’t you think?

Get Going

October 12, 2010 2 comments

Sometimes, in life, you find yourself in a place that seems like you should already be somewhere else. Like you should already have gotten over something, or gotten something done, or prepared yourself for something that you knew was going to happen.

I am telling you, right now, that your moment of boredom/fear/laziness was OK. However, if you are reading this, then you need to know that now it’s your time to get going.

OK, the break is over. Now is the time to get up and get going.

Stay Young 4ever

September 10, 2010 2 comments

Feeling a little run down? Then you are probably looking run down. The truth is age really is a state of mind. Don’t buy into the hype that you aren’t still beautiful and youthful at any age. So pick and age and stay there. (Well, I guess it isn’t that simple so I looked up some great tips too get young again. See bottom part of this post after the positive affirmations and photos.)

I look young.

I feel young.

I am young.

Things to STOP doing so that you can reclaim and enjoy your youth:

Stressing Out

Stress has been shown to accelerate aging and disease – anything you can do to reduce stress has to be good. So how about laughing more?Recent research has shown that laughter really does help us in managing stress. Adopting a humorous view of life’s difficulties can take the edge off everyday stressful situations. Laughter prevents stress building up and stops the release of damaging stress hormones into the body.

Dwelling on Experiences Long Past

There are also those that dwell in the past. Replaying past events and justifying their current condition denies them present moment happiness. Regrets take us away from the moment and lead us to unhappiness and the notion that we have been wronged leads to bitterness and hatred. In fact spending time dwelling on the past or future often leads us down a path of negative emotions. Worry, anxiety, depression, hatred and stress etc all contribute to the aging process because their effects play out in the physical world (our body).

Drowning Your Hair Skin & Nails w/ Chemicals You Can’t Pronounce

We often hear that eating foods that are rich in antioxidants is great for our health and anti aging; however did you know that natural organic skincare products like Purestuf have ingredients which can help with giving you even more antioxidants. Ingredients like vitamins E, C and D, green and white tea extracts are just some of the antioxidant rich ways to great health.

2. Watermelon
3. Avocado
4. Cereals (Grain cereals contain complex carbohydrates that can help provide the energy that you need to keep up with your exercise programs and stay healthy. Aside from the much-needed energy, it also contains fiber and Vitamin B that are known to have rich anti-aging components.)

Skipping Out on the ZZZZZzzzzzzz

Sleep is the time of the day when the body rebuilds, repairs and re energizes for the next day. The skin is the largest organ of the body and without the proper levels of sleep, it will also be the largest age-showing part of your life. At the surface of the skin are millions of cells that die off each day due to environmental influences, dry skin and sun damage. While lotions and cream may ease the effects of these factors, sleep is the only regenerative cycle that can truly undo the effects of the day. Without enough sleep, the skin will be unable to rebuild those dead and dying cells and this is when aging occurs.
